I have been a patient of Dr Bauwens for nearly 30 years. He has taken care of fractures in the past and now is treating my arthritic knees. I have nothing but praise for him. He is an outstanding physician and surgeon. He is never in a hurry, explains treatment options clearly, and always recommends conservative options first such as physical therapy. He is also very compassionate and always listens. I recommend him without hesitation. I don’t know what I’ll do when he retires.
